We have a dream. We all have a dream.

When I was a child, I was dreaming to explore the Space around me. I still do.

3 years on the road during the project Eurasia 1004 showed me the mountains, the deserts, the cold winters, the rainy monsoon and the burning summer.

I went to Space… on Earth. On a bed head down for 3 months, on a dry bath for 2 weeks, on 30 parabolas in the sky, and I almost touched the stars during the last ESA astronaut selection.

I still have to feel the sea, to cross it, to get some waves on my face. So why not to cross the Atlantic? Child, I was dreaming while listening to stories from Gerard d’Aboville, Maud Fontenoy or Alain Bombard. For 20 years, I have been waiting for rowing an Ocean! Today it is time to follow Christopher Columbus path.

Rowing will give me the time to appreciate its uniqueness, to understand its color changes, to get fears and to tame it.

With Atlantic 4800, I am not looking to break a record. I will race against myself, for the Ocean, for the Science and Space.

For the Ocean, as we all need to protect and understand it, if we want that free space not to shrink away. That is why I will row for 2 charities, Polar Pod and 1 Ocean, both aiming to study the Ocean and raise awareness through knowledge.

For Science and Space, to help further our understanding of the human body and its adaptability in Space environment, to bring my little stone to the upcoming new chapter of the Space exploration.
